 Hi There, 

My name is Peter and I am your Local Independent Fitness and Nutrition coach here to help you transform your health, fitness and nutrition.
 

Coaching Philosophy

My Coaching Philosophy is about inspiring and guiding my clients to transform their health and fitness to help them look, feel and perform at their best. 
My coaching is client centred and tailored to their individual needs helping clients to get to the root causes of their problems that no diet plan will ever achieve.... 
Working together we will work on developing sustainable solutions to overcome your personal challenges and obstacles.. 


Coaching System 

To ensure long term success, I recognise that Personal Training so much more than just a exercise and diet program but is also a combination of changing the mindset & behaviours plus developing new sustainable habits that no 30 day program will ever accomplish.

My coaching is based on my 6 Step EXCITE system that helps clients achieve their goals. My first step is to work with them to help identify exciting goals that go way beyond the standard "I want to lose x?lbs or just get fit. 

Step 1 :
When clients are Excited about their goals it helps them develop the required intrinsic motivation, determination and persistence to succeed and bridge the gap from where they are now to where they want to get to..

 Step 2: 
Analyse and eXamine leaving no stone unturned so as we can identify the root causes to their problems. 

Step 3:
Once we are aware of the problems and challenges we can then Create sustainable solutions.

Step 4:
 By getting excited about goals and having created a path to success will help us to take lots of  Inspired Action and have the determination and persistence to succeed  

Step 5:
Working on daily, weekly and monthly tasks and challenges will lead to clients achieving their goals and being Triumphant.


Step 6:
To ensure long term success means step 6 is crucial in helping clients transform their life and clients will work on Establishing long lasting habits that will last a lifetime and ensure they can get off the dieting rollercoaster forever.  


Pillars of Performance 

Underpinning my work is the acknowledgement that if my clients are to achieve their full potential and transform their health, fitness and performance, then all aspects of their life need to be taken into account and this involves working on the "6 Pillars of Performance." 

The 6 Pillars of Performance work synergistically to generate sustainable performance excellence. We will work on the first 3 pillars, focusing onthe person's internal systems which are physical, psychological and emotional. 
Then, these are combined with strategic decision making, nutrition, social & environment which ensures person centred approach is adopted thus a real transformation can take place.    

Therefore my role is to help and empower you to get crystal clear and excited about your goals. As you become more focused and resilient to overcome the challenges you face to ultimately achieve your goals and transform your health, fitness and life.

Having completely transformed my life over the last ten years I have certainly lived by the above quote achieving many things  that I thought were not possible or way beyond my comfort zone. 
 
With 5 years  experience now as a personal trainer  running my own mobile PT Business, I came into personal training through transforming my life and regaining my long life passion for sport. I become a personal trainer with a strong calling to help people transform their health and fitness. My Masters Degree in Sport Psychology as well as my First Class BA HONS in Sports Performance and Golf Coaching  has given me a solid science foundation for all of my work with Clients leaving no stone unturned in my systematic and precision based approach.

Recently married and with 2 amazing young daughters I face the same challenges as you to maintain my health and fitness, notably time and energy levels. However knowing how to overcome these common challenges means I can share my knowledge with you so as you can overcome these challenges as well. 

I have enjoyed playing various sports and competing all my life. Golf has always been my number 1 preference and have been a single figure golfer when actively competing. In more recent times I have raced in various 10km races and 24 hour long endurance races and along with a few clients  trained and competed in Kettlebell Sport Competitions.
